Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you all, our valued and treasured candle family friends. We want to wish you all Health and Happiness as we move out of 2013 and into, what we hope will be, a really great 2014 for all of us.
2013 saw many changes for us here at the Adirondack Candle Company. We started our little candle company in the kitchen of our home waaaay back in 1994, quickly branched out into our basement…and proceeded to stay there for the next 19 years. We had some hard decisions to make this year. We knew we needed to get this candle factory/store out of our house but we just didn’t know IF we could do it, HOW we could do it, or WHERE we could do it, if at all. Six months of heart searching led us to our NEW location (12 Main St. Ballston Lake, NY 12019) in May of 2013. At first it was merely moving everything from a production standpoint to this location just 3 miles from our house and trying to get that up an running to handle production and wholesale needs. We dealt with Retail as it came up.
Then the “Annual Open House” was fast approaching and we didn’t want to disappoint our fans that love that “season kick off” every year…so we built out our retail front end to our production location…and opened that up for the Open House in early November.
After that we did our usual “Open Saturdays” which we’ve done for years between the open house and Christmas.
Now as we fast approach 2014 and all the opportunities a new year brings, we again are trying to figure out HOW to bring our Retail location to the masses and make that successful. Stay tuned…we will certainly make you aware as we figure that out.
We hope 2013 was a great year for you and yours and we hope that 2014 is an even better one for us all.

It was NOT time to end it, this year has proven that, so onward and upward to success’s and levels not yet achieved, or maybe even yet imagined.
